To improve the understanding of user opinions on diet-tracking apps, this study was performed based on the collection and analysis of the textual reviews and numerical ratings that users leave for these apps. We focused on identifying the main positive and negative aspects that users express about diet-tracking apps and openly share in app reviews. The availability and use of mobile apps in health and nutrition management are increasing.
